Northrop & Johnson BVI yacht brokers began their careers in a number of different ways, but rarely in a straight line! Yacht brokers enter the field not because they are natural sales people, but because they love boats having been messing with them all their lives. Many brokers have worked on yachts, owned them and look forward to the time that they are able to spend talking boats & more boats!
But buying or selling a yacht requires professionalism and attention to details to protect both the buyer & seller. For this reason Northrop & Johnson runs training programs that all offices participate in, continuing education is an important to in this changing industry where the yachts and the dollars (or Euros) involves are only growing larger. Selecting the correct Yacht Broker is the most important aspect of brokerage.
